Difference between package manager foundation-sites and folders?

I am adding Foundation to a ASP.Net Core system and I have a newbie lack of understanding.

What does a package manager installaion like “nuget foundation-sites” give me?
Do I still need to add Foundation JS and CSS files to the wwwroot/cs /js etc folders?

I am struggling to know the difference. I guess the question applies to another package manager though.

The package manager should just add the folder structure to your .net app. If you are not going to use SASS with the Zurb Template, you could download Foundation and add the folders to your app manually. (I’m not a developer, but I hang around developers. Hopefully someone else will confirm what I’ve said here.)
