Node vulnerabilities

I am using the Zurb template and when I execute npm install I get no errors but a number of vulnerabilities. Since I am only using node on my personal computer to generate a static website that is then uploaded to a server, do I need to worry about fixing the vulnerabilities?

Since you’ll only be uploading the static files from the “dist” folder to your server, those viewing your website will not have access to Node on your local computer. I believe you will be fine. Perhaps someone else will give their assessment to confirm.

That was my thought too. I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something. The foundation-sites package has no vulnerabilities. The packages having vulnerabilities are only involved in building the html and css files making up the web site. I don’t believe that any of the javascript files are modified.
