* solved * CLI still installs zurb template v 6.6.0

Hi Guys, I wanted to give your first independent version (6.6.1.) a spin but I’m afraid CLI still installs Zurb template 6.6.0

I’ll try again in a few days.

Best regards,
Dieter

Please provide the steps so we can reprodue it.

Hi Daniel,

Here’s what I was used to untill v6.4:

$ node -v
v10.19.0
$ npm -v
6.13.7
$ foundation new --framework sites --template zurb

https://get.foundation/sites/docs/ says 6.6.1. but CLI installs 6.6.0

Best regards,
Dieter

I can not reproduce it with the latest version. It should always clone the GitHub repository and fetch the latest version from it.

foundation new --framework sites --template zurb --directory foundation-zurb-6

            .
           /|     ,

Downloading the project template...
Done downloading!

Installing dependencies...

...

foundation-sites@6.6.1 node_modules/foundation-sites

...

You're all set!

 ✓ New project folder created.
 ✓ Node modules installed.
 ✓ Bower components installed.

Now run foundation watch while inside the foundation-zurb-6 folder.
cat foundation-zurb-6/node_modules/foundation-sites/package.json
{
  "name": "foundation-sites",
  "version": "6.6.1",
...

Okay, didn’t see that (but now I do).
I was was misleaded by package.json in new template root, which states . . .

  "dependencies": {
"foundation-sites": "^6.6.0",

Later than 6.6.0., I get it. Next time I’ll look a bit closer.

Thanks,
Dieter

Yes, this is a SemVer selector (^ is for only minor updates, ~ would be only patches ).
